Eye Examinations

Comprehensive eye care services

Your eyecare is extremely important to us and an up-to-date optical prescription is recommended to ensure your vision is the best it can be.

The College of Optometrists cites several other reasons for having a regular eye examination and sight test including screening for ocular eye diseases, general health problems affecting the eyes, developmental issues and paediatric optometric conditions, but also to help prevent eyestrain, headache or general fatigue caused by environmental factors, computers or digital devices and / or changes in prescription over time.

Dry eye is an increasingly prevalent problem, particularly amongst computer users and / or contact lens wearers. Often presenting as tired, gritty, sore or aching eyes, with blurred and possibly double vision, light sensitivity and paradoxically watery eyes, this very common condition is highly manageable and we have excellent strategies to achieve this, including the MGD Eye Bag; please speak with a member of staff if you have such symptoms.

After your eye examination, we will provide you with professional guidance on suitable frame, lens and coatings choices that will offer you the best all-round performance given your visual status, work and lifestyle requirements, wearing time, comfort and budget.
